Reggio Children, in collaboration with the Reggio Nursery and Primary Schools Institute and the Reggio Emilia Town Council Arts Department, is promoting an experiment on the theme of photography involving children from nursery and primary schools.Through their photographs, the children describe various areas of the city in order to explore a small part of their way of observing and inhabiting spaces.

In the L. Malaguzzi International Centre’s atelier Raggio di Luce (Ray of Light), light is the central feature of many different explorations, in which scientific and expressive aspects are closely entwined. The photography involved also contains this combination, where light draws, leaves traces, touches bodies and objects, colouring them and itself. 
All the experiments carried out by children and young people will be photographed and these images will be given to them as a testimony of the discoveries they have made.
